The story at Tim s Jungle Safaris is not one that starts off in an office board room, but deep inside in African savannah. It was founded by David Manguya who is a naturalist and a guide on safaris. It has been established with a sole purpose of providing intriguing, genuine, and responsible wildlife experiences to the travelers in East Africa. David, having toured the region extensively as a regional manager with some of the leading tour operators in the region, realized the need to have a safari company that embraces the three elements of: local knowledge, personal approach and respect towards nature and people. This small-scale company that began as a single-person venture is now one of the most reputable safari companies in Kenya which is locally owned. Our team leaders have the privilege to lead many guests across the globe through the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu, Tsavo and more, with unparalleled passion and detail.
