- Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive
Your safari begins with a 7:00 AM pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or directly from the airport. The journey takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley, where you will stop for breathtaking panoramic views and photo opportunities. You will arrive in the Masai Mara around midday and check in to your lodge, such as Keekorok or a similar property. After enjoying a hot lunch, you will embark on your first afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara Reserve. This is the perfect chance to spot elephants, lions, zebras, and many more wildlife species set against the stunning golden plains. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge. Meals include lunch and dinner, with accommodation at Keekorok Lodge or equivalent.
- Day 2: Full-Day Exploration of Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch to maximize your time in the reserve. Throughout the day you will explore different areas of the park in search of the Big Five and experience the fascinating dramas of the wild. A highlight of the day is a visit to the Mara River, renowned for its crocodile-infested waters and for being the crossing point during the Great Wildebeest Migration between July and October. Later in the afternoon, you may opt for a visit to a traditional Maasai Village to gain insights into their unique culture and way of life. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Meals include breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner, with accommodation at Keekorok Lodge or equivalent.
- Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, an ideal time to encounter predators before they retreat into the shade. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare for check-out. Your journey back to Nairobi will take you through Narok town, where you will stop for lunch along the way. Arrival in Nairobi is expected around 3:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure. Meals include breakfast and lunch.
