Your safari begins in Arusha, where you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in the morning. Travel through traditional Maasai lands en route to Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its towering 300-year-old baobabs and its immense elephant herds. Spend the day on a game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, buffalo, and more, before enjoying a breathtaking sunset by the Tarangire River. The evening concludes at your chosen accommodation, ranging from the luxurious Tarangire Treetops Lodge to the comfortable Tarangire Safari Lodge.
- Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Where Lions Climb Trees
After an early breakfast, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, home to the famous tree-climbing lions. Begin the day with a game drive, where you may encounter leopards, elephants, and rare antelope. Explore the shimmering alkaline lake, alive with flamingos, pelicans, and hippos. Guests may also choose an optional night game drive for a unique after-dark safari experience. Your overnight stay will be at the elegant Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge, the mid-range Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge, or the budget-friendly Twiga Campsite.
- Day 3: Ngorongoro Highlands and Olduvai Gorge
Your journey continues with a sunrise game drive in Lake Manyara before ascending to the Ngorongoro Highlands at 2,200 meters above sea level. Along the way, visit the Olduvai Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most important paleoanthropological locations. Later, arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for spectacular views from the crater rim. Spend the night at your preferred accommodation, which could be the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, the charming Rhino Lodge, or the scenic Simba Campsite.

At dawn, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive across its floor. Known as “The Greatest Wildlife Show on Earth,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to Africa’s highest density of Big Five animals.
