General Information

1. Booking & Payment

  • All safari bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or official booking form.
  • A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure accommodations, park entries, and transportation.
  • The remaining balance is due at least 30 days before safari departure.
  • Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card (secure link), or mobile money (for Kenyan residents).

 

2. Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are based on current rates and may change due to government taxes, park fees, fuel prices, or currency fluctuations.
  • We strive to honor confirmed prices, but in rare cases where unavoidable increases occur, clients will be informed in advance.

 

  • Travel Documents
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and necessary vaccinations.
  • Tim’s Jungle Safaris and Explorer Ltd will provide support with visa and entry information upon request but is not responsible for entry denials or incomplete travel documents.

 

4. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended and should cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings.
  • Tim’s Jungle Safaris is not liable for loss, damage, or delays due to accidents, health issues, or unforeseen events.

 

5. Safari Activities

  • Game drives, flights, park visits, and excursions are subject to weather, wildlife behavior, and park regulations.
  • While every effort is made to provide scheduled experiences, changes may occur due to safety or operational concerns

 

6. Liability

  • Tim’s Jungle Safaris and Explorer Ltd is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage resulting from acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, delays, or third-party service providers.
  • Our liability is limited to the safari cost paid and excludes indirect or consequential losses.



Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans may change. Below is our cancellation and refund policy: 

1. Cancellations by Client

  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
  • 30–59 days before departure: 75% refund
  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 0–14 days before departure or no-show: No refund

2. Cancellations by Tim’s Jungle Safaris

In rare cases where we must cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. political unrest, natural disaster), you will receive:

  • Full refund OR
  • Option to reschedule or receive a credit note valid for 12 months

3. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 14 working days and returned via the same payment method used during booking.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Park entry fees once paid
  • Domestic flight tickets if issued
  • Third-party services subject to their own terms

  • Wildlife Protection: We adhere to park regulations and ethical wildlife viewing practices. We never support animal captivity for entertainment.
  • Plastic-Free Safaris: We encourage guests to carry reusable bottles and limit single-use plastics during safaris.
  • Conservation Education: Our guides share conservation messages with guests, especially children and young travelers.
